Watercolours
Photoshop has absolutely squeezed art school out of me. Ever since I discovered the watercolour tubes and palettes in the studio stationery cupboard, I’ve been hooked. Watercolours are a lovely medium. All translucent and lovely like. A bit unforgiving on mistakes, but gorgeous any which way.
So, i’ve been trying to get my head around how watercolours work. I inevitably layer so much of it that the translucent feel goes away. My watercolours have no depth. Bah!
The Sketch Cook
So, i’ve started maintaining a sketchbook again. I’ve seen that maintaining a sketchbook requires a certain discipline and that everyday sketching is an absolute must. So, here’s the book with the sketches that I cook.
